Donald D. Fenno, 92, of Washington, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at the McCreedy Home in Washington. A private family graveside will be held at a later date. Beatty Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Donald D. Fenno was born June 1, 1927, in LaMoure, N.D., the son of George and Nellie (Petersen) Fenno. Don was united in marriage to Arlene Schrum in Edgeley, N.D., on June 16, 1949. He was an Iowa State graduate with a degree in agri business. Don worked for Ralston Purina Feed Co. for 35 years. He loved his family and grandchildren dearly.

Don is survived by his wife, Arlene; grandchildren, Eric Fenno of Tampa Fla., and Nicole Reynolds of Statesboro, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Dominic Fenno, Paulina Fenno, Jackson Reynolds and Savanna Reynolds; sisters, Lois Hieb of North Dakota, Bonnie Simmons of Oklahoma, Joann Hembre of Oklahoma and Carol Brademeyer of North Dakota; and brothers, David Fenno and James Fenno of Oklahoma.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; children, Stephen and Greg Fenno; and brothers, Gerald and Dickey Fenno.
