Donald Frederick Niece
FAIRFIELD - Donald Frederick Niece, 69, of Fairfield died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006 in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 in the Richland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kim Gates officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Gould Funeral Home in Richland, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Keokuk County Community Endowment Foundation.
Mr. Niece was born Jan. 10, 1937 in Trenton, the son of Charles Frederick and Alta Fern (Baust) Niece. He married Shirley Lankford on June 7, 1959 in Richland. They later divorced.
