Donald G. Roth

      WAYLAND-Donald G. Roth, 73, of Wayland, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, Wayland, with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the church, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be designated to the University of Iowa Dialysis Unit. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. Roth was born Nov. 4, 1932, near Wayland, to Lloyd Ira and Lulu Elizabeth (Freyenberger) Roth. He married Karen Ann Lyons on April 13, 1991, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
