Donald J. Ruth
KALONA - Donald J. Ruth, 81, of Riverside, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at his home, following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 29, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside, with the Rev. Jack Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery in rural Riverside. Visitation will begin at 7 a.m. Sunday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Riverside First Responders or St. Vincent's Cemetery.
