Donna A. Burchett April 24, 1929 - December 12, 2003

Donna A. Burchett, 74, of Independence, Kan. died at 12:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at the Midwest Regional Medical Center in Midwest City, Okla.

      Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cathedral of Praise in Independence, with the Pastor Gary Don Newman officiating. The family will conduct a memorial service at 10 a.m. today, at the Word of Life Church in Garden City, Kan. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Services are being handled by Potts Chapel in Independence, Kan.

      Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kurt and his wife Elaine Horst of Somerset, Penn. Gale and his wife Sandra Horst of Watervliet, Mich.; two stepsons, Terry and his wife Kenni Burchett of Derby Kan. and Randy and his wife Cindy Burchett of Independence, Kan.; one stepdaughter, Belinda Chism of Independence, Kan.; and five grandchildren.
