Donna A. Miller, 77, of Wayland, died Monday, October 11, 2021, at the Washington County Health Center in Washington.

Donna was born July 26, 1944, in Leo, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph and Agnes (Graber) Whitmer. She graduated from Leo High School and continued her education at a business

school in Graybill, Indiana. Donna was united in marriage to William "Bill" J. Miller on May 2, 1964, in Leo, Indiana. The couple moved to Wayland in 1973. She was passionate about mission work and went on a mission trip to Haiti in 1989. She was a member of the Faith Christian Outreach Church. Donna loved music, especially singing and playing the piano, which she taught herself. She was an excellent seamstress and a great cook.

Donna is survived by seven children, William "B.J." (Jana) Miller Jr., of Wayland, Douglas (Jennifer) Miller of Wayland, Matthew (Lisa) Miller of Wayland, John Miller of Wayland, Christina Miller of Cedar Rapids, Elizabeth Miller of Wayland, and Patricia Miller (fiance Matthew Goers) of Wayland; 11 grandchildren, Whitney, Delaney, Walker, Kinzey, Jaicey, Holden, Finnley, Kaleb, Kiana, Chancey and Payton; three sisters, Lois (Sam) Schwartz, Deloris Martin and Janice (Lanny) Kimes, all of Indiana; and three brothers-in-law, Earl Jacquay of Indiana, Don (Joan) Miller of Wayland and Ray Miller of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; a sister, Karen Jacquay; and a grandson, Michael Lee Miller.

Celebration of Life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Bethel Church in Wayland. Inurnment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. A general memorial fund has been established. The Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel is caring for Donna and her family.
