Donna Georgene Schmidt
Donna Georgene Schmidt, 65, of Washington, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction, following a lengthy illness.
A Celebration of Life was held today at First United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Don Hodson officiating. Private family burial was in the Elm Grove Cemetery prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Lovely Lane Methodist Church Children's weekday ministry or Hospice of Washington County. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is handling arrangements.
