Donna Jean Copeland

      Donna Jean Copeland, 71, of Douds, died at 11:10 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      A private service and burial will take place at a later date in Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds. The body will be cremated.

      Family visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds.

      Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 1002 Seventh St., Keosauqua 52565. The family will designate a memorial later.

      Mrs. Copeland was born Aug. 3, 1936, in Selma, the daughter of James R. and Marybelle Baker Hootman. She married H. Roy Copeland Oct. 5, 1956, in Ottumwa. He died Oct. 26, 2003.
