Donna Joanne Stocker, 76, of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, Iowa.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will be present to receive friends. Donna was born December 29, 1945, in Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of Donald Eugene and Joan C. (Pantopoulos) Henning. She attended school in San Diego, California, graduating from Rosary Catholic High School. She later graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant with a BSN Degree. She was united in marriage to John C. Stocker on June 22, 1971, in California.

Donna has lived in Iowa since 1981. She worked as a Nurse all of her life, having been employed by the Washington County Hospital for 23 years. She previously worked at several hospitals in California and on the east coast while her husband was serving in the military.

Donna is survived by her son, Robert Osborn of Douglasville, Georgia; daughter, Tammy Hittner and husband Kirk of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Rachelle Sweeting and husband Jeremy of Riverside, Iowa; daughter, Laura Pruin of Waverly, Iowa; son, Glen Stocker and wife Corrine of Washington, Iowa; son Brian Stocker of Washington, Iowa; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2014; and one sister, Susan Joyce Dacus.
