Dora M. Gerald
Dora May Gerald, 82, of New London and formerly of Davenport, died Sunday, June 8, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at Elliott Chapel in New London with family present from 10 a.m. to time of service. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at Elliott Chapel with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
She was born May 1, 1926, in Cuba, Mo., the daughter of Christopher Columbus and Geraldine Bell Grant. She married Paul Ross in 1947. He died in 1980. On March 31, 1984, she married Earl Gerald in Mt. Pleasant
