Doris Banks
LONE TREE-Doris Banks, 84, of rural West Liberty, died Friday, March 2, 2007, at Crestview Acres in Marion.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. The Rev. Paul Ostrem of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Banks was born Jan. 8, 1923, in Johnson County, to Albert and Vella (Brandt) Stemm. She married LeRoy Banks on Nov. 20, 1954, in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death in 1987.
