Doris Eleanor Cary

      Doris Eleanor Cary, 77, formerly of Packwood, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with her son, the Rev. Danny Cary, and the Rev. Frosty Van Voorst co-officiating. Interment will follow in Packwood Cemetery.

      Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hopewell Church. Cards and memorials may be sent to 2754 189th Blvd., Fairfield 52556.

      Mrs. Cary was born July 15, 1929, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Edgar W. and Martha A. Summers McIntire. She married Orville "Dean" Cary May 23, 1954, in Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. He died May 14, 1991.
