Doris Fae Thrasher

      Doris Fae Thrasher, 88, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

      A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Dennis Doud officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

      Open visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.

      Memorials may be made to Church of the Brethren and may be sent to the church at 1210 W. Williams St., Ottumwa, or may be left at the funeral chapel.

      Mrs. Thrasher was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Batavia, the daughter of Wayne and Elsie Littlefield Peebler. She married Anthony Boccabella. She later married George Thrasher April 16, 1981.
