Doris J. Peiffer

      FAIRFIELD - Doris J. Peiffer, 77, of Fairfield, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, in Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, in the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating. Burial will be in elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Polishville Community Association.

      Mrs. Peiffer was born April 5, 1931 in Brighton, the daughter of E.W. and Ada (Schooley) Duttweiler. She married Herbert J. Peiffer on June 9, 1948.
