Doris L. Kightlinger
Doris L. Kightlinger, 84, of Washington, formerly of Galesburg, Ill., died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Washington County Hospital.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Dexter officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 6, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the chapel. A memorial has been established for the American Diabetes Foundation.
Mrs. Kightlinger was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Victoria, Ill., to Fred W. and Annie (Daniels) Dexter. She married Dwayne E. "Kite" Kightlinger on July 24, 1948, in Galesburg, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1981.
