Doris McCracken

      Doris McCracken, 95, formerly of Richland, died early Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Richland United Methodist Church in Richland, with the Rev. Willy Morfitt officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.

      Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the family present from 5-6:30 p.m.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richland United Methodist Church.

      Mrs. McCracken was born May 20, 1913, northeast of Richland, the daughter of William and Lyda Bond Reighard. She was raised by stepparents Wesley and Leora Bond. She married Clifford McCracken Sept. 20, 1933, in Agency. He died Aug. 23, 1998.
