Dorotha May Collins
Dorotha May Collins, 97, of Keota, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at University Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. John DeBoef officiating. Burial will be in Danville Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. this afternoon, at the funeral home. Extended visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services on Saturday. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Collins was born on Jan. 8, 1906, in Havana, Ill., to William Thomas and Clara Elizabeth Trainor. She married Bate Collins on April 30, 1924, in Middletown.
