Dorothy C. Erickson
Dorothy C. Erickson, 97 of Indianola, formerly of Winfield, died Thursday Aug. 21, at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Indianola.
A funeral was held at 11 a.m. today, Aug. 25, at Honts Funeral Home, with the Rev. Nancy Bender officiating. Burial will follow at Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the Indianola First United Methodist Church.
A general memorial has been established.
She was born Oct. 24, 1910, in Chicago, Ill, the daughter of John and Matilda Johnson Bergstrom. On May 23, 1931, she married Bert Erickson.
