Dorothy Carithers February 9, 1901 - November 11, 2005
Dorothy Carithers, 104, of Morning Sun, died Friday evening, Nov. 11, 2005, at Morning Sun Care Center.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21 at the United Methodist Church in Morning Sun, with the Rev. Sue-Ellen Sherman officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the United Methodist Church in Morning Sun.
Mrs. Carithers was born Feb. 9, 1901, in Roscoe, the daughter of Merrett Thomas "M.T." and Florence Bowman Evans.
