Dorothy 'Dot' M. Blind

Dorothy "Dot" M. Blind, 74, of Wever, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      A graveside funeral service and burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Fairview Cemetery south of Denmark on County Road X32, with the Rev. Patrick Hilgendorf officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Lunning Chapel in Burlington. The family will not be present. A memorial has been established for the Blind Leukemia Research Fund in care of the University of Iowa Foundation and may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors include her mother; and two sisters, Carolyn White of Mt. Pleasant, and Kathy Lox of Nauvoo., Ill.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father.
