Dorothy E. Winslow

      Dorothy E. Winslow, 85, formerly of Fairfield, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Elsa Lawry officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.

      A book of condolence may be signed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.

      Mrs. Winslow was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Lockridge, the daughter of Fred and Anna Louise Erickson Gustafson. She married Norman "Ned" Winslow Oct. 18, 1941, in Memphis, Mo. He died Oct. 3, 2000.
