Dorothy I. Shobe

      Dorothy I. Shobe, 72, of rural Milton, died early Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at home.

      A funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Bryon Wixom officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials to Van Buren County Public Health Nursing Service may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 16094 Highway 16 West, Douds 52551.

      Mrs. Shobe was born Oct. 31, 1935, near Keosauqua, the daughter of Leo A. and Beryl Merrick Miller. She married Robert E. Shobe Nov. 7, 1954, at Keosauqua United Methodist Church. He died July 31, 2000.
