Dorothy Irene Whitmore Jenkins
Dorothy Irene Whitmore Jenkins, 62, of Baton Rouge, La., died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 2, in the Ainsworth Community Church in Ainsworth. Burial will be in the Oregon Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon Sunday until the time of the service in the church. Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with local arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge or to an activity at the University United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Jenkins was born Oct. 23, 1945, in Chicago, the daughter of John E. and Dorothy F. Whitmore. She married Quentin A. L. Jenkins 22 years ago.
