Dorothy Jean Vosika,

      BELLA VISTA, Ark. - Dorothy Jean Vosika, 87, of Bella Vista, Ark., formerly of Washington, died Friday, May 4, 2007 in Omaha, Neb., following a brief battle with cancer.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, in the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with the Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Interment will be in the Czech National Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Memorials may be made to the local chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the charity of the donor's choice. Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with the arrangements.

      Mrs. Vosika was born in April 1920, in her great-grandmother's home in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of Floyd and Verna Kinney. She married Edward J. Vosika on May 8, 1942.
