Dorothy L. Melinsky
Dorothy L. Melinsky, 84, of Alexandria, Va., formerly of Washington, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at Inova Mt. Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, Va.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:15 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church on Wednesday, Sept. 22. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday and continue through the prayer service at 7 p.m. A memorial has been established for Catholic Charities.
Miss Melinsky was born on Feb. 13, 1920, in Washington County, to Frank and Victoria (Shelangowski) Melinsky.
