Dorothy M. Powell
Dorothy M. Powell, 80, of Iowa City and formerly of Trenton, died on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.
The funeral service was at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City with the Rev. Timothy D. Malek officiating. Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial was in the Green Mound Cemetery in Wayland. A memorial has been established.
