Dorothy Rita McLain

Dorothy Rita McLain, 93, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, at Sunrise Terrace Care in Winfield.

A service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Peggy Egbert officiating. Burial will be in New Sweden United Methodist Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the New Sweden United Methodist Church building fund and sent to Dianne Brokken, 2998 239th St., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. McLain was born Dec. 17, 1916, in West Liberty, the daughter of Charles Arthur and Erma Emma Carter Buckman. She married H. Dale McLain March 30, 1935, at the Methodist parsonage in Birmingham.
