Dorothy Virginia Forbes
Dorothy Virginia Forbes, 93 years, passed away on September 4, 2006 at the Columbia Manor Care Center in Columbia, Missouri. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Memorial Gardens in Columbia. Services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Forbes was born on October 4, 1912 at Marshall, Missouri the daughter of Walter and Willie Riggins Claycomb. Her childhood was spent in Marshall and Herndon, Missouri. She was a graduate of Marshall High School. She married Russell Henry Forbes on May 16, 1931 at Sweet Springs, Missouri. Phyllis Jean Forbes was the only child born to this union.
