Doug Shirley
Doug Shirley, age 69, of Nevada, Iowa, our colorful and caring friend, son, father, brother, and cousin, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 19, 2018.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial with military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.ryanfunerals.com.
Survivors include a son, John Espinosa of Colorado; 3 granddaughters; his mother, Dorothy Shirley Soucek of Washington; and a sister, Suzanne Riley of Provo, UT.
