Douglas Gene Crossett

NEW LONDON - Douglas Gene Crossett, 66, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, in the Great River Medical Center emergency room in West Burlington.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29 in the Elliott Chapel in New London with the Rev. Jeff McPheron officiating. Burial will be in the Richwoods Cemetery in Trenton. Visitation will begin after noon Thursday in the Elliott Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

      Mr. Crossett was born July 19, 1942 in Wellman, the son of Martial Edward and Esther Lucille (Stump) Crossett. He married Delores Jane Henkel on May 31, 1969 in the Trenton Methodist Church.
