Douglas Roy Audiss

July 29, 1967 - June 19, 2018

Douglas Roy Audiss was born July 29, 1967 in South Dakota, the son of Mickey and Betty (Schoenfelder) Audiss. He graduated from Owatonna Christian School in Owatonna, Minn. He has lived in the Brighton and Kalona communities since 1993. Doug worked at the Kalona Sales Barn for many years. He attended Crosspoint Baptist Church. Doug died on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home in Kalona at the age of 50 years.

He is survived by his parents, Mick and Betty Audiss of Richland; five siblings, Dewain Audiss of Ainsworth, Cindy (Larry) Schultz of Owatonna, Minn., Darrell (Molly) Audiss of Merrillville, Ind., Lizzie (Chris) Long of Owatonna, Minn., Dan Audiss of Washington; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, followed by a funeral service at 5 p.m. Pastor Mike Barr will officiate. Burial will be in Owatonna, Minn. A general memorial fund has been established. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is caring for Doug and his family.
