Douglas Wayne Erwin

    KEOTA ? Douglas Wayne Erwin, 77, of Keota, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

    Mass of the Resurrection was at 10:30 a.m. on today at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating.  Burial was at Holy Trinity Cemeteries-St. Mary Cemetery. A wake service was held Sunday, Aug 9, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota.  A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County, Keota Volunteer Fire Department or Keota QRS. 

    Mr. Erwin was born March 23, 1932, in Adel, the son of James and Lorene (Butler) Erwin.  He married Claudine Heisdorffer on June 9, 1956, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota.
