Doyle Eugene Hampton
Doyle Eugene Hampton, 80, of Centerville, died on Friday, May 24, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
The funeral service was on Tuesday, May 28 at the First United Methodist Church in Centerville, with the Rev. Jim Gubser officiating. The service was followed by a Masonic service by Jackson Lodge #42. Burial was in Haines Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation was on Monday, May 27 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville. Memorials have been established to the Appanoose County 4-H Foundation or First United Methodist Church Youth and can be mailed to or left at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, 501 North 18th Street, Centerville IA 52544.
