Dr. Dale E. Garrels
MT. PLEASANT - Dr. Dale E. Garrels, 70, Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, July 23, 2006 in the Parkview Home in Wayland.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, in the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Edward R. Peterson and the Rev. Pat Youngquist officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa. Visitation will be after noon Tuesday in the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or to Iowa Wesleyan College.
