Duane W. 'Bill' Anderson

      Duane W. "Bill" Anderson, 77, of Mt. Union, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Mercy Hospitals in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at Elliott Chapel, in New London, Tuesday Feb. 21, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Rod Cooper officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery in Mt. Union, with military rites by Henry County Honor Guard. A lunch will follow at New London Christian Church.

      Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m., with family present from 4 to 6 p.m. A memorial has been established to Henry County Ambulance Service and Trinity Cemetery Association.

      Mr. Anderson was born in Des Moines County on April 23, 1928, son of Raymond Francis and Blanche Eliza Canby Anderson.
