Dwight LeRoy Laughlin

      Dwight LeRoy Laughlin, 86, of Ainsworth, died Monday, May 24, at United Presbyterian Home in Washington, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, at Ainsworth Community Church in Ainsworth, with the Rev. Scott Nesbitt officiating. Burial with military rites accorded will be in Parsons Cemetery in Oakville. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Ainsworth First Responders.

      Mr. Laughlin was born on Jan. 22, 1918, in Danville, to LeRoy and Stella (Hall) Laughlin. He married Olive James on Aug. 12, 1951, in Columbus Junction.
