E. Jane (Mrs. Virgil) Sammons
E. Jane (Mrs. Virgil) Sammons, 71, of Mt. Pleasant died at 8:08 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, in the Great River Hospice Room of the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Jeffrey R. Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, with family present from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Veterans Club Disability Access Fund, the Old Threshers Foundation and the Calvary Baptist Church.
