E. Luciel Verink

      LETTS - E. Luciel Verink, 89, of Letts died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 in the Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 in the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services with the Rev. Walden Askren officiating. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the service a time of food and fellowship will be held in the community room at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Louisa County Ambulance Service.

      Mrs. Verink was born Feb. 10, 1918 in Eliza, Ill., the daughter of Joseph and Lola (Fuller) Hogan. She married John H. Verink on Feb. 10, 1937.
