E. Rosaleen Starr

      RICHLAND - E. Rosaleen Starr, 85, of Richland, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., Wednesday, with the family present from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials have been established for the Richland Volunteer First Responders or the Richland Volunteer Fire Department.

      Mrs. Starr was born Dec. 18, 1920, near Richland, to Harry Luther and Laura Edith (Singleton) McClure. She married Richard Starr, July 12, 1938, in Richland.
