E. W. 'Bill' Michael

E. W. "Bill" Michael, 73, of Batavia, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, with the Rev. David Albert officiating. Interment will be in Batavia Cemetery, with military rites conducted by O.B. Nelson American Legion Post No. 3 and Walter B. Schafer Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 775 of Ottumwa.

      Open visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the family present from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

      Memorials may be directed to Living Hope Bible Church.

      Kremer Funeral Chapel in Batavia is in charge of arrangements.
