Earl E. Bruders, 69, of Fairfield, passed away April 22, 2020, at Iowa City Rehab.

There will not be any services at this time. Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Twila Luke, 204 North Ninth St., Fairfield, IA 52556.

Earl was born Sept. 4, 1950, to Earl "Catfish" and Julia (Luke) Bruders in Fairfield, Iowa.

Earl graduated from Fairfield High School and later worked as a janitor at Fairfield High School. He enjoyed his cat Suki, going fishing, playing the guitar and singing.

Earl is survived by his daughter, Misty Bruders of Wayland, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Twila Luke of Fairfield and Cleone and Butch Dowing of Indiana; cousin, David Savage; other aunts and uncles, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Julia; and aunts and uncles.
