Earl R. Baumert
HARPER - Earl R. Baumert, 68, of Harper died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City following a short illness.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today in the United Church of Faith in Keota with the Rev. Sallie Graves and the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial took place in the Keota Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday in the Powell Funeral Home in Keota. Memorials may be made to the Wilson Memorial Library Museum Fund.
Mr. Baumert was born Aug. 9, 1938 near Harper, the son of George W. and Lottie (Maule) Baumert. He married Wanda Blattner on Sept. 1, 1957 in Washington.
