Earl Raymond Martin

    COLUMBUS JUNCTION ? Earl Raymond Martin, 84, of Columbus Junction, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, in Colonial Manor Care Center in Columbus Junction.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Chris Hinkle of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Wapello officiating. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery with full military rites by the Allen Wright Hanft American Legion Post No. 100. After the committal there will be a time of food and fellowship at the Cedarcrest Country Club. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established.

    Mr. Martin was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Aurelia, the son of Guy S. and Estelle M. (Bullock) Martin. He married Mae E. Blum on Dec. 12, 1947, in Wellman.
