Earnest Gene Beemblossom

      Earnest Gene Beemblossom, 69, of Washington, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, following a sudden illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, at United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Mark Young officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Washington High School Scholarship Fund or the American Heart Association.

      Mr. Beemblossom was born on May 29, 1934, in Washington, to John M. and Fiana L. (Creech) Beemblossom. He married Reta Ahrens on June 8, 1957, in Washington.
