Eathyle Young Stoakes

      EAGLE GROVE - Eathyle Young Stoakes, 94, of Washington, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at United Presbyterian Home in Washington, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at United Presbyterian Church in Goldfield, with the Rev. Ron McMenamin officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield. The family will receive friends and family from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Memorials may be directed to United Presbyterian Church or at the discretion of the family.

      Mrs. Stoakes was born March 27, 1909, in rural Goldfield, the daughter of James and Jesse (Young) McGowan. She married Braden Barbour Stoakes on June 21, 1933.
