Ed Freyenberger

Ed Freyenberger, 83, died Saturday, Nov. 10, while visiting in Iowa.

He was born May 22, 1924, the son of Elmer and Emma Oswald Freynberger, and was raised on a farm near Wayland. On Feb. 28, 1948, he married Irene Good.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Cheryl Nix and her husband Harvey and Beverly Moyer and her husband Nick; three sons, Keith Freyenberger and his wife Valerie, Douglas Freyenberger and his wife Ann and Todd Freyenberger and his wife Heidi; three sisters, Myrtle Gardner and Ruth Graber of Wayland and Ina Mae Eigsti of Kansas; two brothers, William and Robert Freyenberger of Wayland; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

His son David and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
