Edgar E. Niederhuth Sr. December 15, 1903 - September 20, 2003

      Edgar Earl Niederhuth Sr., 99, of Stockport, died at 3:55 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at the Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at the Stockport Christian Church with the Rev. Ted Morelock officiating. Burial will be in the Spencer Cemetery in Stockport. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. A memorial has been established to the Stockport Christian Church.

      Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Barbara Ann Smith of West Burlington, and Lois Elaine and her husband Robert Keller of Stockport; a son, Edgar Earl and his wife Helen Niederhuth Jr. of Stockport; five stepchildren, Mary Jo Smith, Robin Savage, Joy Cunningham, Danell Carter and Garett Cunningham, all of Tucson; and eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and 13 stepgrandchildren.

      In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers.
