Edith Christner
KALONA ? Edith Christner, 86, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a lingering illness.
A celebration of life will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at the Sharon Bethel Church in rural Kalona with the Rev. Delmar Bontrager, the Rev. Jacob Yoder, the Rev. Gabriel Beachy and the Rev. Lamar Ropp officiating. Burial will follow at the Eash Cemetery north of Sharon Center. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasantview Home. Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona is handling the arrangements.
