Edith G. King
MARION - Edith G. King, 85, of Marion died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 16, at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion, with the Rev. Nick Longworth officiating. Burial will be in Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. King was born Jan. 20, 1920, to O.C. and Cassie (Stump) Patterson. She married Ivan "Ike" King on Aug. 29, 1948, in Washington. He preceded her in death in 1993.
