Edith I. Anderson April 24, 1922 - October 20, 2003

      Edith Irene Anderson, 81, of Brighton, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003 at the Park Place Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville with the Rev. Stephen J. Estram and Rev. Wayne Wilken officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery adjacent to the church. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday with the family present from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. Memorials can be made to Hope Lutheran Church.

      Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Dianne Eckhard of Seattle, Wash.; one son, Larry Anderson of Brighton; one sister, Leola Trabert of Brighton; and four granddaughters.

      She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
